These photos are taken through my telescope.
Most of the images here were taken through filters using a monochromatic camera. I'm able to combine filtered grayscale exposures together to bring out color. Some filters only let in a few nanometers of light, which is a technique called narrowband imaging that minimizes the effects of light pollution and adds scientific detail to these beautiful images! Space observatories like the Hubble Space Telescope and JWST use narrowband imaging too!
